The Atomic Bent 85 is a versatile all-mountain and park ski from the mind of Chris Benchetler and the Atomic Freeski team.
It delivers top performance everywhere, no matter what the terrain. Whether meter-high airs in the halfpipe or packed snow in the afternoon, thanks to its 85mm waist width and the all-mountain rocker, you always have full control. Its composite wood core and its Dura Cap sidewall construction ensure perfect cushioning and at the same time agile handling and lively edge changes. Chris Benchetler's artistic graphics on the topsheet and base of the Bent 85 are the best inspiration to conquer the entire mountain for yourself.
Characteristics:
- Directional shape: Little to no rocker at the tail of the ski for better edge contact and therefore more grip and stability
- Light Woodcore: Made from poplar wood, this core saves weight while offering top cushioning and smooth running
- Densolite Core: A core made of Densolite foam dampens vibrations and makes the ski maneuverable. For energy-saving skiing
- Dura Cap Sidewall: Sidewall from the base to the topsheet for top edge grip - rounded for greater longevity
- High-gloss topsheet: High-gloss topsheet for a polished, glassy finish and a smooth, absolutely high-quality look
- All Mountain Rocker 20/65/16: For piste or powder: Early bend at the front or front and back - for high versatility
- Side edge angle 87°: For intuitive handling, easy driving and better grip
- Edge angle on the base side: 1.3° Edge angle on the base side for easy turning, first-class edge grip and top directional stability when swinging
With WARDEN 11 MN binding: The reliable Atomic Warden 11 MN fits on every all-mountain ski and, as a multi-standard-certified binding, can be used with all ISO-standardized ski boot soles: DIN, Touring and Walk To Ride (WTR). It has an oversized platform and a U-Power toe piece, an extra-wide base for additional lateral power transfer, control, flex and cushioning. It is also 30% wider than comparable bindings and is therefore particularly suitable for progressive, wide skis. It has a Z value of 3.5 to 11, a low profile chassis, progressive transfer pads and a special lightweight butt piece for feather-light and maneuverable ski handling.
