It is equipped with the new Aergon Air. The latest generation of the grip, which is specially designed for trekking, has been optimized again in terms of comfort and control and improved in every detail. The special cavity technology enables a combination of lightweight construction with large, supporting surfaces that meet all the ergonomic requirements of your hand. The grip head of the Aergon Air is fully rubberized and offers maximum grip and control when going downhill. The inclined angle helps to optimally guide the wrist and position the stick. The aluminum tube gives the Makalu great stability and makes it a robust companion on all tours.
