STABLE, LIGHTWEIGHT 240 CM ALUMINUM AVALANCHE PROBE WITH PFA QUICK RELEASE SYSTEM AND RUBBER HANDLE In emergency situations, speed is important. That's why we have made our aluminum probe with a length of 240 cm even more efficient. Thanks to the optimized PFA system, the ALU 240 PFA is now MORE COMPACT in terms of pack size and at the same time easier to handle. The quick-release loop enables immediate opening and tensioning with one hand. To determine the burial depth and optimally adapt the shovel strategy, all of our probes have easy-to-read DEPTH MARKINGS and a clear 1-METER MARKING. The lowest segment in neon orange provides a visual indication of the proximity of the buried victim when shoveling. The new, improved RUBBER-COATED HANDLE of the ALU 240 PFA also ensures safe, ice-free handling in all conditions. BE FASTER That's what it's about. With every detail. We develop highly specialized probes for a wide variety of needs and user groups. The desire for PRECISION and SPEED is our premise. Because this can save lives in an EMERGENCY. We work on detailed solutions that make rescues even more intuitive and, in conjunction with the avalanche transceiver and shovel, get us to the buried victim more quickly. PFA quick release system 2.0 The successor to our oft-copied quick-clamping system is even SLIMMER and therefore MORE PACKAGE-FRIENDLY, with the same continuously proven clamping performance. The NEW QUICK RELEASE LOOP allows the probe to be clamped directly out of the case. Relaxation is achieved by pressing your thumb against the system cover. Ergonomic handle The thin and light rubber coating ensures a perfect grip for quickly clamping the probe. Visual guidance system The intuitive visual guidance system gives you quick and clear information about the SPILL DEPTH at any time. Thanks to the clear 1 m marking, the HIGH-CONTRAST DEPTH SCALE and the COLOR END SEGMENTS, you can OPTIMALLY ADJUST your SHOVELING STRATEGY and save important time. The lowest, neon orange segment shows you when you are approaching the buried person. Quick release case The quick-release loop allows for immediate OPENING AND TIGHTENING WITH ONE HANDLE, without having to take the probe out of the case first. Voluminous probe tip The significantly larger diameter than the probe elements promises better penetration. Barryvox LVS digital and analogue combination device with three antennas The new Barryvox® S LVS device with a large reception range and an effective search strip width of 70 meters, it offers the user a simple interface and intuitive operation. That means: clear instructions thanks to the simplest operating concept and quick and precise searches thanks to Smart Search. To protect non-searching rescuers, we at the Barryvox® S the Rescue SEND function integrated. In the event of an avalanche burial, the device automatically switches to SEND in order to locate the buried rescuer. In addition, the Barryvox® S equipped with the Smart Search function, which interacts with the actions of the searching rescuer. Characteristics: battery life Alkaline: approx. 300 hours SEND Lithium: approx. 350 hours SEND Batteries included Transmission frequency 457 kHz Maximum range up to 70m Search strip width analogous to 100m Search strip width digital 70m Marking of buried subjects: mark|unmark EN standards EN 300718 Warranty 2 year warranty; upon registration plus 3 years Mammut guarantee year/s Battery type Alkaline and lithium 3 x AAA 1.5 volt Made in Switzerland 100% Made in Switzerland, developed and produced in Switzerland Effective search strip width digital: 70 meters Digital reception range: up to 70 meters Extended search range: extended reception range (analogue): up to 95 m, extended search strip width (analogue): 100 m Circular reception field: Almost the same reception range of the X and Y antennas Lithium Capable: Also works with lithium batteries: Reduced risk of leakage. More stable at low temperatures. Longer run time (350 hours SEND) Display: Very easy to read display with backlight, even with polarized glasses Acoustic user guidance: Allows the rescuer to search the avalanche field visually Reverse function to avoid 180 degree seek error Group test with clear instructions Visual Interface: Shows distance, direction and number of victims Design: Ergonomic design, impact and break resistant, can be operated with gloves Device tests: automatic self-test and function test Smart search interacts with the rescuer's actions during the search. This makes searching easier and more reliable Multiple burials: signal analysis and signal separation in the case of multiple burials Victims can be selected, marked (MARK) and also unmarked (UNMARK) in the list of buried persons Automatic transmission switching (Auto Revert): If a rescuer does not move for 4 minutes, we assume there is a secondary avalanche and the device switches to SEND mode (motion sensor controlled) Rescue SEND is a protective function for non-searching rescuers in the event of a post-avalanche burial by automatically switching to SEND so that the rescuer can be located again Auto guidance: In the event of signal failures or overlapping, the device guides the rescuer to the buried subject Vital data: 3D Sensor supports the rescuer in concentrating their resources on those buried with the highest chance of survival Extended search settings: Individually configurable search settings: per search; the acoustic guidance and visual guidance; automatic transmission switching (auto-revert) Alternative search mode (analogue mode) helps to solve demanding search scenarios Personalization: Start image and user texts (e.g. owner information) can be personalised Bracket: Highly functional Barryvox carrying system included W-Link: Additional communication channel for better search performance Manage fleet of devices via W-Link Updateable software Operating temperature: -25° to +45° Celsius (-13° to +113° Fahrenheit)
