The RESCUE SET DIRACT includes light and reliable avalanche transceiver equipment for beginners. When selecting the components, we chose particularly intuitive products that can be easily controlled even in stressful situations.
DIRACT
The DIRACT combines intuitive operation with the latest technology and a handy, well-thought-out design. It is reduced to a function button and, thanks to clear symbols and a 360° real-time display, ensures intuitive user guidance in stressful situations. Equipped with the patented SMART ANTENNA TECHNOLOGY, buried people are found much better with the DIRACT. The device analyzes the situation in the avalanche and automatically switches to the best transmitting antenna. The most modern, digital 3-antenna technology is just as natural at ORTOVOX as the automatic post-avalanche switching. In addition to the SEND and SEARCH modes, there is a standby mode for signal suppression during search. The rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides reliable energy even at -20°C and is particularly long-lasting and environmentally friendly.
In addition to the premium avalanche transceiver DIRACT VOICE, the DIRACT does NOT offer VOICE NAVIGATION, but does offer acoustic and visual support for rough and fine searches.

ALU 240
The entry-level probe with Quick-Lock clamping system: The ALU 240 is reduced to the essentials. The Quick-Lock clamping system enables quick and easy clamping. So it is ready for use in seconds and can be relaxed and folded up again just as quickly. The tension can be readjusted by simply turning the optimized adjusting screw. The voluminous probe tip, which has a significantly larger diameter than the probe elements, promises better penetration. The low weight is achieved by using aluminum with a diameter of 11 mm. Like all of our probes, the ALU 240 also has an easy-to-read depth marking, a clear 1 m marking and the bottom segment in neon orange in order to be able to optimally adapt the shovel strategy.
BADGER
The BADGER is a lightweight aluminum shovel with an ergonomic hybrid handle for maximum power transfer! At 2.5 liters it has a decent blade volume, which can develop full rigidity thanks to the rigid construction with a pronounced central bar and raised side panels. Grooves on the upper edge of the blade provide the necessary support when using shoes, and a centering aid in the handle holder enables quick assembly.
